No technology will save
Us from the consumptive rat race
Or from the contradictions that
Will lay out our hubris flat

Re-wild now or choose collapse
We've fallen into our own trap
Ensnared by the glut of material things
Nature untouched is nature that sings

The earth was once an icy sheet
Cold as hell but still complete
While we defile the streams that run
The Holocene Extinction

We feed the meat we throw away
Untold acres of golden grain
Could be feeding us instead
If we just correct our heads

Human need before human greed
Send the profiteers off with screams
Justice is our only right
But only if we choose to fight
